Get to Know Brian L. Williams

Education and Training

Brian L. Williams, a lifetime Kansan, graduated from Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph, MO, with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies. He pitched for the MWSC varsity baseball team and was active in many student organizations.

He then attended the University of Kansas School of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctorate. While at KU Law, he served as Head Student Representative for both the Barbri and Westlaw organizations. He also was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Career and Present

Mr. Williams was admitted to practice law in Kansas and the U.S. District Court in 2004. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Kansas Bar Association and Lyon-Chase County Bar Association. He is a past president and vice-president of the Lyon Chase County Bar Association.
